Cos-Play Hero p311: WOOOOOOP!

Cos-Play Hero p310: Doing Our Worst

Cos-Play Hero p309: Charles Still Can't Draw Trucks

Cos-Play Hero p308: Life is Like a Video Game

Cos-Play Hero p307: Son of Maskstaschen

You didn't really expect to get through this book without a tragic villain backstory, did you?

Cos-Play Heor p205, p306: Maskstaschen's Secret

The wall made of talking robots were inspired by a snippet of the 1983 animated film "Unico and the Island of Magic," in which the villain uses a magic flute to turn people into creepy blocky dolls and forces them to stack together like living Lego bricks to form his castle.  (I saw this unsettling scene while channel surfing as a child without any context of what the holy heck was happening, and didn't even figure out what movie I was watching until almost thirty years later. It haunted me.)
The tank full of sinister orange fluid was from an entirely different anime film, but I'll let you figure that one out for yourself.

Cos-Play Hero p304: Creepy Robot Death Catacombs

Cos-Play Hero p303: Friendly Fire

Sorry, this one is kinda lame.

Cos-Play HEro p302: H4X0RED!!!

Cos-Play Hero p302: Olivia and Penguin talk about boring identity issues while Sunglasses has a power trip.

I kind of wanted to space this out over two pages, but I worry about this comic's pacing. I don't want to spend too much time talking about Sunglasses' issues when the other half of the cast is trying to escape a life and death situation.
Also, that's supposed to be Sunglasses staring maniacally into a computer in the first frame. I'm not sure it came out right. I should have drawn him from a different angle. I might have to redraw that frame.

Cos-Play Hero p300: Charles Has Fun with Transparency Affects

Cos-Play Hero p298, p299: Eli?

Cos-Play Hero p297: The fight is over?

!?
Wait, is the fight actually over!? After over four months of drawing this scene!?

Brief Intermission:

Also, a cartoon:

Cos-Play Hero p296

Gosh, I'm tired.

Cos-Play Hero p295: A Grave Error

If I had all the time in the world, this tug of war would have gone on for several pages. What do you think of the colors? Could someone please give me some feedback? I have no idea what I'm doing.

Cos-Play Hero p294

He clearly isn't taking this seriously.

Cos-Play Hero p292, p293: Pretty Prism!!!

You know. A prism. Because he's reflecting beams everywhere... like a prism.

Cos-Play Hero p291: The Eye of the Beholder

Cos-Play Hero p289, p290: Remember that old HBO intro sequence from the 80's?

Umm... Didn't this whole thing start out as a Film Noir story?

Cos-Play Hero p287, p288: Hope

Good grief, this emotional-development part of the storyline was tricky to write.

Cos-Play Hero p286: An Epiphany?

Cos-Play Hero p285: Sunglasses' Dilemma

Okay... The guy has some issues.
By the way, this is the first comic I've posted using my new computer. The shading might be a bit less accurate this time; I'm still working on getting the tablet screen to work.

Cos-Play Hero p284: Singularity

Cos-Play Hero p283: Crater Face

Sorry if there's a drop in quality since last week. Apparently, the graphics card on my computer is broken, and I'm having some trouble getting these comics published. It's going to be like this for a couple weeks, unfortunately.

Cos-Play Hero p282: Analyzing Sunglasses p2

Cos-Play Hero p281: Analyzing the Sunglass Man, Part 1

I have another page drawn already, but this character development dialogue is a lot harder to write than the action scenes.

Comic is running late. MERRY CHRISTMAS, BEDFORD FALLS!

Cos-Play Hero p279, p280: BEWARE! HE LIVES!

Cos-Play Hero p277, 278: In Space, No One Can Hear Your Onomatopoeia

That "On the other side of the planet" shouldn't have been necessary, but I had some trouble depicting pictorially that I was showing the other side. I could get by with less words if I was a just a little better at drawing all this. I guess the fact that I don't know what I'm doing is kind of my whole thing, though.

Cos-Play Hero p275, p276

Cos-Play Hero p274: That's what you get for listening to me.

New Card Available

I took a break from the story to add a new design to my RedBubble portfolio.

Get it here.

Cos-Play Hero p273: Calling for Help

Cos-Play Hero P272: SPAAAAAACE BAAAAATTLE

Cos-Play Hero p271: While the Boss is Away

Cos-Play Hero p290: Blasting Off Again

Get your head in the game, Sunglasses!

Cos-Play Hero p269: Social Anxiety Attack

Cos-Play Hero p268: Yet Another Transformation... Again

I decided not to do one of those drawn-out magical transformation sequences like on Sailor Moon or what have you. I decided this one-frame thing was funnier. "URP!"

Cos-Play Hero P267: Transformation

I refrained from adding some kind of "TCH-TSCH-TSCH-TSCHK" sound effect when he changes form.
