I finally fixed the expensive printer that the people at Wal Mart tricked my Grandma into buying. It cost me seventy dollars just to get the parts and ink. Why must printers cause us so much trouble? Why can't they be more like thumb drives?

I'm not one hundred percent happy with the voice work. The Raccoon just doesn't sound right. I would fire that guy... but it's me, so I can't.
I might post this on YouTube eventually, but I have some more improvements I need to do first.

Anyway, next week's update is going to be a bit... low key. I've been working on this nearly every spare moment since the weekend, and I desperately need to play some Lufia and Monster Tale instead.

My eyes are really tired. I think I may have lost my mind at some point.

The music is kind of terrible. I threw that in at the last minute. If I'd known you could do this in GarageBand, I would have done something better.

Remind me to fix the lip sync errors later.

Here it is. The cartoon I've been working on since February. I've logged hundreds of hours and spent thousands of dollars on animation software, but I think it was worth it. Oops! I've been so busy with 3D Street Fighter that I forgot to post the comic.
Good news, bad news. The good news is that there's a game coming out featuring Samurai Jack, Bloo from Foster's Home, Ben 10, Chowder, and other Cartoon Network characters. The bad news is that the game looks terrible. It's made by Crave Games, the same company as every other Cartoon Network game, and they do NOT have a good track record. Worse, they couldn't even get Phil Lamarr to reprise his role as Samurai Jack. This makes me want to put my head through a window pane.

I accidentally dropped my book bag on the way to work and shattered my jar of peanuts. I had a bag of peanuts and broken glass. I tried to sort out the peanuts from the glass, but I decided I did not like peanuts enough to risk ingesting shards of glass.

I just started Pokemon White, and it's pretty awesome. The name of Team Plasma didn't make much sense at first, but I decided Plasma was actually an acronym. I think it stands for "Pokemon Liberation Army of... Southern... Massachusets." My mind is shot.

Anyway, I think someone heard me describe his acting abilities by saying that Johnny Depp was a chameleon, and took me literally.

This one came up a little blurry because I had to borrow a scanner. The Kodak AiO that Wal Mart tricked my grandmother into buying stopped scanning because it's out of color ink.
1. It is NOT out of color ink because it's never successfully printed a picture.
2. Why the heck do you need color ink to scan something!?

Never try to pick up a prescription at Walgreens at 5:00 PM on a Monday. It only leads to heartache.
Golden Sun is so flippin' sweet. It doesn't seem nearly as easy as Nintendo Power said it was. Maybe it gets easier later. Even Kefka in Final Fantasy 6 goes down like a lead weight if you have doublecast, Ultima magic, and an economizer/celestriad. Have I lost everybody yet? Good.

This one didn't turn out very well because my pen sort of ran out of ink part way through. For the joke to really work, the comic would have to have about six pages of weird poses.

I finished Metroid: Other M. The game was pretty good, but I still like Metroid Prime better. It's weird that this game is so easy, since it came from the Ninja Gaiden people. The cut scenes were great, but parts of the plot seemed a little forced. I'd still recommend it, though.

I had my teeth drilled this morning. Instead of silver, I had the dentist fill them with Adamantium. Now I can bite through a car door!!!

What would be a good Capcom Versus game? I recommend Capcom vs. Muppets, but that might not work out right.

I tried to buy shoes after the dentist. I couldn't find any plain brown shoes. I would have rather been back at the dentist getting my teeth drilled.

Whoaah! It's a double comic! It's a double comic!!! It goes all the way across the web page! Whoaah! WHOOOOOOOAAAAH!!! It's so intense!!! It's so vivid! WHOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAH!!! What does it mean!?? (Sobbing.)

Well, my sister and I went to Disney World last week. We had a pretty good time, except for when I got a horrible headache the first day. We kind of overdid things. Well, at least dinner was good. If you ever go to Disney, be sure to get a meal plan. You can get some good food there, but it's super expensive. Anyway, the fireworks at Epcot were fantastic, and my sister managed to get her picture taken with seven costumed characters in a row. The next day, we went to the Universal Studios Islands of Adventure to see the new Harry Potter attraction. It was pretty great, but I don't think they anticipated how many people would show up to the thing. It took us nearly three hours to get through the ride ( which was awesome, once we finally got in), and lunch was similarly slow. The food was kind of terrible. If you want to go, I recommend showing up some time of year when nobody has time off... maybe October. We didn't really have any time to do any of the rides anywhere else in the park, but they mostly seemed to be gut-wrenching roller coasters with Marvel Comics characters' names pasted on them.

I just did a very quick colorization of this one. I'm still practicing my Illustrator skills.

Anyway, try to guess how much of the following story I made up.
I got to the office this morning, and there were two birds flying around, chirping maniacally, and roosting on the lighting fixtures. We couldn't figure out how the birds got in the building. They didn't have IDs. I guess they convinced somebody that they left their IDs in the car so that they would let them in the door. Birds are weird.

I finally bought Illustrator. This thing took a long time to draw! Part way through, I got hungry, and had to cook some burgers. I was suddenly attacked by an angry pickle and a hot dog! I had to fend them off using only a pepper shaker!!! It was then that I began to wonder... is a Cylon just a cyborg made of nylon? I couldn't put Top Hat in this one, because he had to go try to close that oil leak. It didn't work.

I bet you're wondering why this comic looks so terrible. It's a long story, but in short, it turns out I don't know how to use a fountain pen.

I think it's funny to use out of context sentences at a crowded restaurant to make it appear you're discussing something interesting. I.E., "Anyway, they found his teeth in it."

I got that WarioWare D.I.Y. game. I made a microgame where you beat up a car like in StreetFighter. The day after that, my brother crashed his car. I have to be more careful about these things.

I finally finished Cave Story. That game is awesome. Who thinks I should try to make something like that? I have a great idea for a game based on my comic. Does anyone have any suggestions? I think I would try to use Flash, since then it could be played without downloading.

I'm trying to get some Flash software so that I can make cartoons and games. The software I need, though, costs a thousand dollars. That's a lot of money for a hobby. I'm guessing I won't use a third of the features I pay for. I wish they had some cheaper introductory version. Anyway, Cave Story is awesome.

I played that game Sands of Destruction recently. It wasn't that great. It would have been better if it was a lot more challenging. Also, some of the characters tended to say the same things over and over in battle. It started to go a little something like this:
"Here comes the paaaaain!"
"It's probably my fault."
"It's probably my fault."
"Here comes the paaaaain!"
"Here comes the paaaaain!"
"It's probably my fault."
"I'm not afraid of this power anymore!"
"It's probably my fault."
"Here comes the paaaaain!"
Still, one of the characters, Taupy the bounty hunter teddy bear, was almost awesome enough to justify the rest of the game on his own.

Anyway, I have Pokemon Soul Silver now, and it's going pretty well so far. I wanted to spend my weekend playing it, but instead I squandered it doing my taxes... Sigh.

Give some Malimars to that monkey.
